A few of my favorite girls on the planet, Ife, Tina, and Val got together in Austin this weekend. I was able to meet their little girls for the first time. It was wonderful!! It is really neat to see my college friends in the role as mommy. We had a great time...here's a few pics:

What a fun weekend! Thanks, Tina, for opening your home to us all. And congrats to Ife for killing it in Houston with her first half-marathon. And a HUGE thank you to Val for flying across the pond and taking the time to be with us. I. Love. My. Friends. Just sayin'....
And here are just a few pictures of Dean, of course. She was so FUN on the trip down to Austin, I was really nervous that she'd be cranky and difficult because of the long car ride and disrupted schedule. I couldn't have been more wrong! She was so well-behaved and actually fun to be around! I told Chaz it was like she was just one of the girls!
Chickfila pit stop:
She thought it was so cool to get to sleep in bed with mommy at the hotel.
She leaned over and hugged me in bed before she drifted off to sleep. She laid her head on my chest and whispered, "We're best friends". I couldn't agree more!!!

Oh. My. Gosh. That part where she laid her head on your chest and said you're her best friend melts my heart. That is precious!!! What a sweet little girl.
Her tiny little body in that big bed is so cute! Melts my heart.
