Happy Chaz Day!!!

That’s right. It’s not New Year’s Day but "Chaz Day". Chaz has been warning me for several weeks that we are doing nothing but watching football today. I said “What makes that different from any other day?” Let me show you why it’s different. It’s the only day I will allow this:


Yep, that’s right. My husband drug another tv into our living room and sat it beside our other tv so that he can watch multiple games at once. It’s almost too embarrassing to post. I really hope there are other weirdos out there that do the same thing but I highly doubt it. At one point, we were watching 4 games at once…

On “Chaz Day”, there will be nothing asked of him. If it doesn’t involve football, he’s not interested. I bet if it were at all humanly possible, he would want me to go to the bathroom for him so that he didn’t have to get up. All food will be exactly what is requested by Chaz and delivered in a timely manner. Here’s my hubby on “Chaz Day”:

Moving on, we had the best dinner I’ve ever had in my life (yes, my life!) last night. We had reservations at a new, trendy steak house downtown called Red Prime. It’s in the heart of OKC in the old historic Buick Building. I loved the atmosphere-it was so “Sex & the City.” I had the tilapia with crab meat sauce and Chaz had the pork chops. YUM!!! I’m salivating just thinking about it. Sadly, though, we got home around 10:45 and I crashed. I barely could keep my eyes open for midnight. I’m getting so old…
