Strange

It’s been a very, very strange couple of days to say the least. Yesterday, my sweet Nanny was mugged. She was taking groceries out of the trunk of her car when a man jumped out of his car, knocked her down, and stole her purse. She is doing fine, just a little bumped in bruised. If I ever met the scum that did this to her…well let’s just not talk about what I’d do…I hope the $40 they got was worth it.

And today, I learned that my sister-in-law’s grandmother Maybelle, has passed on. She fell and hit her head. She slipped into a coma late yesterday and at 4am this morning, passed away. She was such a sweet, wonderful lady who will be greatly missed.

Finally, I get to work this morning and drive up to this:



The building behind us was struck by lightening last night. Needless to say, we are very, very lucky.
